Grandma’s Kitchen or Mom’s Diner Checkered Kitchen Utensil Holder Retro Wall Plaque Happiness is Homemade

Did you ever go on a picnic or to an outdoor family gathering when someone did not bring a red checkered table cloth? Do you remember going on a long road trip and getting to stop to eat at an old diner, those were the days.

I think this simple kitchen sign is a nice reminder of the good times.

This plaque can be hung in the kitchen to hold your kitchen utensils or placed in the diner area or even the family fun room.
By default, I include 5 (3/4 in.) brass cup hooks, but you can choose the brass “L” hooks or no hooks at all.

Have it personalized the way you want:

Kathy’s Kitchen

Debbie’s Diner

Chef Bobby

Krazy Cook on Board

Kiss the Cook

Carved out of solid pine, every other check is carved down into the wood and then painted red, the other checks are not painted or stained, just left natural which gives the feeling of being white.

The size is about 15 inches wide by 7.25 inches tall. Comes with 5 utensil hooks and is engraved out of 3/4 inch solid pine wood. I carve JacksCrafts and the year made on the back of my pieces as a signature.
